Probably the best burrito I have ever had. Wife and I had the ham breakfast burrito with the red sauce. Great flavor to sauce and the perfect amount, enough to give a kick, but not inundated to ruin the flavor of the meat and cheese and potatoes. Daughters had burritos as were raving about how good they were and how we should go back later in day (and they are generally picky).
Small place, take out only.
Staff was very friendly and funny, I assume I ordered from the owner, who was personable.
A must eat in Los Alamos. Glad we came here during our NM Adventure.
Fair priced, good to support small businesses. -

I used to love chili works. I hadn't been to Los Alamos in nearly ten years, so I was excited to get a burrito. I stopped in at 12:45 and asked if I could have a burrito. The guy working the counter (no name tag but an older bald man) quickly said "no". He stared at me for a few seconds and when I asked if he was joking he said "breakfast is over and we're closing soon, sooo" and looked at the door as to tell me to take off. No people skills whatsoever. What a disappointment, it's obviously my fault that I got here late but I didn't see a cut off time. That guy is super rude, if he worked for my company he'd be fired on the spot. He treated the older man in front of me like trash also.

Worst breakfast burrito in town. I've never understood why this place is popular -- the burritos are 90% potato. Do yourself a huge flavor and go down the street to Morning Glory Cafe and get your burrito there. Their red chile is awe inspiring.

This place sucks! The guy working the register is an A-hole! if you have a problem then find another job. He's probably the owner... I tried this place three times and food is sub par especially for New Mexico. Don't waste your time here!!! Its garbage!!!!

So good. Just so good. Be sure to ask for their homemade salsa. Watch out: it packs a tasty, tasty punch. Steak burrito, Christmas (red and green chile) is the way to go. Oh, you'll also get your food in seconds flat so it's perfect to swing by before work. Go, you won't leave disappointed or hungry!
